Paulo Simões
CEO
For more than fourteen years Paulo held Sales & Marketing positions, at NCR and Oracle, focused in business with Financial Institutions. He, then, helped launching Colt Technology Services operation in Portugal, where he worked for nine years, playing Sales Director and Business Unit Director roles. In these roles, he strength his knowledge on both Banking Business and Banking IT needs. Today, he is an Entrepreneur and Educator – he is founder and Partner of both Terinfinis (www.terinfinis.com) and Cloud365 (www.cloud365.pt) and he is Invited Assistant Professor at ISEG (www.iseg.ulisboa.pt), where he teaches subjects like Information Technology and Management Information Systems.
Paulo holds a graduation in Computers and Electronic Engineering, a post-graduation in Marketing and a MBA.
Paulo’s experience with Financial Market Customers, his Business Development skills and his successful tracking seeding and growing startups, make him a natural choice for leading Riverbank’s team.
José Duarte
CTO
For more than ten years Jose was a Consultant only focused in Projects in Financial Services Institutions, first at Santander Group and, then, in Oracle Consulting Services.
He is a co-founder and Partner of timestamp:biw, an IT Consulting company focused in analytical solutions. At timestamp:biw José maintained his main focus on Financial Services projects.
His over twenty years of experience in Financial Services projects were acquired on Consulting assignments at European Banks in different functional areas such as: Assets and Liabilities Management, Product Level Profitability, Activity Based Costing, Funds Transfer Pricing, Performance Management, Net Interest Income Forecast and Regulatory Reporting (Basel II and FINREP) .
Jose holds a graduation in Computers and Electronic Engineering.
Jose’s role as CTO is leveraged by his experience in Solutions Implementation and Software Development for Financial Services Institutions.
Luís Leão Silva
COO
Luis is an Information Technologies Consultant and Senior Executive, with nearly 20 years of experience.
Holding a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from IST, he started his career as a Research Fellow at INETI, where he worked on parallel processing architectures harnessing real time decisions – project MATER.
He then entered Oracle Consulting, where he lead teams on several projects for the Custom Development and Business Intelligence Units. During this period he was honored with the 1st Public Sector Best Practices Award – Management Information Systems Category, as Project Manager for SIGAE III project at the portuguese employment agency.
He is currently Managing Partner at timestamp:biw and Terinfinis and COO at Riverbank, all of which he co-founded and where he is responsible for Consulting and Operations.
Sérgio Pena Dias

Over the past 20 years, Sérgio has held several positions in the Information Technology, Private Equity, Semiconductor, Health and Banking markets.
Currently is the Chairman of an IT/IS Group of Companies and he also was CEO, COO, CFO and Executive Vice President of several Multinational and Portuguese companies.
Sérgio holds a Degree in Economics from the Portuguese Catholic University, is a Post-Graduate in Management from the University of Edinburgh and also holds an MBA by ENPC Paris.
Ricardo Fernandes

With more than 7 years of experience, Ricardo Fernandes was a consultant focused in projects in areas of Business Analytics and Data Warehousing, as well as web development, UIX and mobile.
He has worked with several clients, from industries such as Marketing to the Banking and Financial Services, Healthcare and Retail, in which he had performed pre-sales and sales, analysis, validation and scoping definition for proposals, Team management, Project Management (T&M and turnkey projects), Budget Management, besides participating in staff training and improving the Quality Management System.
With high technical experience in development and excellent knowledge in core functional areas of Banking and Financial Institutions, Ricardo main responsibility as a Senior Director is product development management

Luis Alfonso Torres

Main responsibilities: To provide overall leadership and strategic direction for developing opportunities to assists clients to improve and develop planning strategies to manage profitability and performance based on advance analytics software and advisory services.
Sectors served: Financial Institutions, Corporates, and Infrastructure.
Luis holds a Master degree in Development Economics from Sussex University in England and has extensive experience as leader of advisory services in designing and implementing solutions and models for management financial and operational risks in banks and other financial firms as well as in leading corporations. Services have been performed in Colombia and other LATAM countries. Experience as a Board member for Colombian Eximbank and as advisor to Boards of Directors of financial firms as well as to several Colombian Ministers of Finance. Also consultant of the Colombian Central Bank, regulator of the Colombian capital markets and Economist at the IMF in Washington.
Academic experience includes international lecturer on risk topics, teacher at the Universidad de los Andes as chair of postgraduate courses on risk management and Director of School of Economics at Universidad Javeriana in Colombia. Author of several publications and newspaper articles.
